ACTIVE SWALE WILL HAVE TWO SPORTS AWARD WINNERS AS PARALYMPIANS IN 2012
It was confirmed yesterday that 17 year old Ross Wilson - a resident from Minster on the Isle of Sheppey was selected for the 2012 Paralympic Games in Table Tennis Category T8
thus doubling Swales representation at this years Paralympics following Sittingbourne resident Steve Brown selection as GB Wheelchair Rugby Captain late last year. Congratulations to both.

Welcome to the Active Swale website.
Active Swale is your local Community Sports Network made up of organisations with sport, physical activity and health as one of their key priorities, organisations such as the Health Promotion Team (NHS), housing associations, sports clubs, Swale Borough Council Sports Development and Kent Sport Leisure and Olympic Service and the two local school sports partnerships.
One of the major focuses of Active Swale is to get more people within Swale participating in sport and physical activity, including publishing a directory of clubs and facilities to help people become more active and get involved in the sport and physical activity of their choice.
